The “Pousada Atlantis Whale-Watching Lodge”
The view of the neighbor island Faial and the city is breathtaking and special through it’s deep colors and never same sunsets. Many guest already went home with huge collections of this panorama. The owner has always extended the lodge so that we can offer 42 beds by now. The guest homes are situated in a big garden area with lots of blooming fauna. The dining room/bar offers a big roof terrace as well as a library with video/DVD and internet access – an ideal place to stay if it happens to be bad weather or if we are waiting for “whale alarm”.
Guest rooms Two comfortable guestrooms are situated in the main house above the resort. They offer a big veranda with ocean view. 2003 three new guest rooms were added that are situated in a separate house in the garden area. All rooms with separate bathroom. Cost (without meals) 8 days/7 nights June – September: 500 EUR October – May: 360 EUR
Casa Atlantis These two newly build houses are situated amid the garden area. The houses offer two small sleeping rooms and bathroom as well as a living room and kitchenette. Cost (without meal) 8 days/ 7 nights June – September: 840 EUR October – May: 600 EUR
Cabana Atlantis These two houses are situated amid the garden area. The houses offer a living/sleeping room and three beds. Costs (without meals) 8 days / 7 nights June – September: 660 EUR October – May: 470 EUR
Family Guest Rooms Atlantis These five accommodations are situated amid the garden area. Besides the sleeping rooms and bathroom the family guest rooms also offer a living room and kitchenette. of Madalena. The walking distance to the city is about 15 min.
