The Canaries are a group of islands belonging to Spain. They are located in the north pacific off the NW coast of Africa. La Gomera belongs to the western islands.

The local money is the EURO. Most banks accept VISA/Mastercard.

As the Canaries belong to Spanish the native language is Portuguese. But english  is usually understood as well.

The islands have a warm dry climate throughout the year.

At La Gomera you'll find a variation of subtropical climate combined with trade winds.

The temperature at the coast is always between 20 - 25°C / 68 - 77°F.
